Hello lovely people of the world!!
We are quickly approaching the most wonderful time of the year! It’s so amazing to me that within a matter of weeks it will be Christmas. I remember crossing into 2017 like it was yesterday.
In light of this I have designed my debut collection of Christmas themed cake toppers available for pre-order from now until November 30th, 2017. The toppers will be despatched within the first 3 weeks of December and there’s also a discount available for orders of a dozen or more.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas celebration, with lots of love and memories to cherish. I know everyone around the world has their own set of traditions when it comes to Christmas and my family is no different.
My Christmas was thoroughly packed with activities, never mind the fact that I celebrated it at my parents house, my dad usually insists that my cousins and their children come over as well so this year we had about 12 children and maybe 19 adults!! My sisters and I had the honour or roasting the turkeys but surprisingly this year everyone (including the guys) chipped in with preparing the food. I guess that’s part of what makes Christmas special, family coming together.
One family tradition that we didn’t follow through on was gift-giving. We’ve had such an eventful December that we sort of silently agreed to buy presents for only the children and not have a gift exchange amongst the adults. Which brings me to my paper craft project for this Christmas.
It’s nearly Christmas!! I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone by. So much has happened this year and quite frankly I can’t wait to be through with 2013 but that’s another story. So here we are in December, the last month of the Gregorian calendar. It’s winter in the northern hemisphere of the earth and warm and sunny in the south. I actually find it quite fascinating that South Africa goes through winter when Europe is in the summer months. Simply Amazing!
We do live on a wonderful planet and if you’re of the Christian faith like myself, then Christmas has a very deep and special meaning to you when God, the creator of this world, sent his son Jesus to come live among us.
And for you cynics out there, yes I am well aware that what we celebrate as Christmas day, the birth of Jesus Christ, could not actually have occurred on December 25th, but was created by early Christians to overshadow a pagan winter celebration and cause a conversion of belief towards the Christian faith. I think it’s even been concluded that Christ was probably born in the summer months (June/July) because you won’t have shepherds grazing their flock out in the middle of winter! (Apologies to anyone who wasn’t aware of this before. Sorry you had to find out this way. By the way Santa as you now him today was fabricated by Coca Cola!).
